Ladies and gentleman, may I introduce one of our regular team of guest reviewers, Zombie Phil, our very own rotting writer. Zombie Phil’s going to shuffle over to review movies starring his own kin, the walking dead in whatever form they come. So give him a hand (cos one of his dropped off years ago) as he gives us his thoughts on Black Sheep, the 2006 kiwi zom-com from Jonathan King;
“Ruarggghhhh. Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Muarrrrrgh. Ruaaaaaaaaagggg. Urgggggggggggggg. An experiment at a genetic lab turn docile sheep in to rabid killers. Rahhhhhhhhhhhh. Muargaghhhhhhhhhhh. Uggg. Uggg. Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggg. Goofy animatronic sheep. Muarrrrrrrrgh. Nice rip off of the American Werewolf in London transformation scene. Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh. Expect better acting from the four-hoofed artists than you get from their human co-stars. ssssssssssssssssssssssss. Murrrrrrrrrragggggggggghhhhhhhhhh. A little human-sheep rumpy-pumpy thrown into the mix (Well, this is New Zealand after all*). Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Muraaaaaaaaaaaaagh, The mother of all fart jokes. Garrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgg. Ruaaaaaaaaagggg. Phenomenal scenery. Ruarggghhhh. Urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Muarrrrrgh. Bwarghhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Original is ain’t or for that matter scary. Raised a few laughs, but not enough. Guuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrr. Muargaghhhhhhhhhhh.”
Thank you Phil. That was most enlightening.
